It's pretty funny because for the most part we get on, and he's one of those anti-establishment conservative types. We can have a political conversation and agree with each other about absolutely everything (the common man gets screwed by big corporations etc etc) until the second we start talking about who we think is responsible, or who the "bad guy" is because I'm all "It's fucking Jeff Bezos and the billionaires obviously" and he starts ranting about the World Economic Forum and Bilberburgs and "THE GLOBAL CENTRAL BANK!!!!!1", oh and the fucking second that China gets brought up it activates the reactionary in him Manchurian Candidate style.

But we can also talk about plants because we both like to grow shit, so that's nice neutral territory (for the most part as long as I don't bring up Miracle Grow LMAO).
