To a liberal, "violence" is anything that could potentially inconvenience them in any way shape or form.
Yet anything that doesn't inconvenience them, but actually kills people by the thousands or even millions is not violence if it doesn't involve swinging fists or guns. E.g. The slow violence of intentionally keeping an entire subsection of society unhoused, malnourished, and impoverished... that's just how the world works sweaty, it's not violence!
