maybe-later-honey You're gonna fee real bad when a republican uses this precedent to bend the rules and use naked power to do something bad!

anakin-padme-1 I'm not going to exploit this loophole in the law so as to not set a precedent for the Republicans to do so.

anakin-padme-2 So you're going to close that loophole to make sure, right?

        anakin-padme-3

anakin-padme-4 You're going to close it, right?

Best way to close a loophole is to abuse it in front of the opposition.

yyyyeeeeah I spent about an hour last night responding to nearly every dumbass who made this comment with things along the lines of "they already fucking did it dude/this is their BS backfiring on them, not the other way around/do you think if we play nice they'll let us have a little abortion as a treat?"

The funniest part is that this precedent was already set by Tommy Thompson, but of course anytime the dems use the rules the republicans established to actually do something good it's somehow bad.

Chinese government does something good for the masses = bribery, authoritarianism, populism

American government policies have no correlation with public opinion= technocratic democracy, freedom
