Newpipe and other Youtube wrappers have background playing capability, so it's definitely achievable.
Yes, but I don't know code, and the dev hasn't emailed me back yet, so we're stuck for the moment.
I also use mobile and if you tab away from the window with the cu.tube or hit play after telling the phone to sleep worked for me
not sure if you're still checking the form linked here, but i am thinking i could do Morning Mathrock on Saturdays at 9am Eastern. Since my body wakes me up at like 7:30 anyway.

I'm embarrassed to say that I don't understand any of this. But I love that Chapos are playing music all day long (or as close as they can).
It's the sort of thing I'd be interested in, especially after a long DJing hiatus, but would need explaining like I'm one of your boomer parent's that you're first teaching to use the internet.
It's pretty easy, all of the controls are directly underneath the video. The only thing you'll probably have to worry about is adding videos and voteskipping.
I think the only platforms that play are youtube and soundcloud.
One of the things that I want to get added to this, is for a bot to auto add songs that get posted here directly into the playlist.
Is this still active? Also I heard turntable.fm is back, which is a similar platform.
It should be. There's a few people who still do weekly shows on there. I might try to do another push for people to use it when I get a bit more free time.
