Liftoff and Connect seem cool and can view Hexbear, but they give me API errors when I try to sign in. Is everybody having this problem? Any apps that work smoothly? The web browser experience on here has been way worse since the switch so I'm ready to just go to an app.

The Hexbear instance is currently located at hexbear.net, NOT hexbear.net. This might be the cause of some issues if a Lemmy client doesn't handle HTTP redirects the same way a browser does. I have not tried any of the apps yet myself though. The only apps in F-droid are Jerboa (which doesn't work with Hexbear) and Lemmur (which doesn't work at all. The author abandoned the project and went to hang out with the capital R Rationalists on tildes.net after he found out Lemmy was developed by Communists.)

No, the www. thing doesn't make a difference. It registers as the exact same instance with or without and has the same API error when trying to sign in, even though i can view Hexbear on there as a guest.

Pre-Lemmy switch I never felt the need for anything but that, but now the browser experience is way messier.

Yeah, post migration I have been pretty much unable to use the website on firefox for iOS. I was curious if anyone else was struggling.

The browser on my phone seems to still work fine so I just use that
