Every little counts, especially if you make it a routine part of your day.
Even on days that I can't get a workout in, I'll throw a few pull-ups in on my bar just for good measure. Sometimes I'll do half a workout. Sometimes I'll just do a quick set before I leave the house.
Every little bit helps. No excuses not to move your body for a minute per day. You'd be surprised how far it goes.

I've been trying to work in the stretches ever since I noticed I can't move even half as good as I think is normal. Makes a big difference.
For me, because I sit at a desk quite often, I've found deep hamstring stretches (with weight) and bottom position holds of the goblet squat to be wonderful for my mobility. Hanging if you have a bar is great for the shoulders and upper back too.
Staying in shape is just as important as reading theory. Can’t change anything literally sitting on our asses.

I did this and because it was so casual I didn't do proper stretching before or after and popped a tendon in my neck that laid me out for over a year. Be careful people.

yesterday i went to the gym and just went hard on the exercise bike while listening to kraftwerk, i was there for only 30 mins

#1 Continue to exercise
#2 pursuant to #1, do exercise you enjoy doing
#3 pursuant to #1, Do not get injured
#4 Become fitter, stronger, faster, healthier, etc
I’ve started running recently, it’s pretty fun. Just put on an audiobook and vibe at a slow pace.
I raw-dog it because I have no way to carry a phone and headphones always rip out of my ear when I run.
I picked up a used Apple Watch for $100 and have some cheap bt headphones. This lets me leave my phone at home so it’s working for me. Tracking all the data is fun too, but that’s not for everyone.
Do you need to have an iphone back home for this to work? How does it play the music?
I've thought about smart watches, but i'd never wear it day to day, a used one isn't a bad proposition.
Yeah I think you'd need an iPhone for it to work. I think any smart watch would work fine though, just make sure that it can play music offline. For the apple watch I just tell it which albums to download to the watch then they're available to listen to even if it's not connected to my phone (or wifi).
I basically just use mine for running, the only other feature I like is that apple pay is slightly easier to pay from my watch vs pulling out my phone.
I know what you mean about being in water. It's not nearly as strenuous as swimming, but if you're looking for some light cardio when the pool isn't an option then I've found that nothing beats a good creek hike. Get some waders on - or if you're feeling brave, just throw on some sandals - and take a brisk walk through the water. Be careful to avoid little piles of pebbles because those are likely carefully constructed fish nests.
In terms of exercise I can't imagine it's any more beneficial than a normal power walk, but the psychological benefit to spending time in water is worth it.
