Against the concept of overpopulation? I haven't read anything that was good. The "best" I've seen is 'we need to depopulate Africa and also billionaires are bad'.
Yeah, it's surprisingly hard to find good books on it despite it being such a common reactionary talking point.
One of my best friends is just generally very good on stuff but is fatally convinced there are too many people in the world, and that even if there was going to be communism that there would need to be less people for it to work. So I wanted to find a book to give him.
I found Too Many People? on Haymarket but couldn't find it on archive or libgen so not sure how good it is.
Oh, damn! Thanks so much for looking for it and sharing!!
I haven't used this site before so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but when I click on one of the .io files to download it takes a long time before failing with bad gateway. Am I missing something?
I haven't used Telegram before so maybe I'm missing something. But when I follow your steps and reach the point with the links, I'll click to save them and it says "File saved to downloads" but there's nothing in the Downloads folder of the phone nor can I at least find a downloads folder on the app. I tried this for all the files and the same thing happens.
Can anyone please recommend any good Leftist or Marxist books arguing against overpopulation?
The first chapter about the multiplied agricultural output in Conquest of Bread is argument enough for the silly position.

The front end can be a bit janky sometimes, it you install telegram and send the book title to https://t.me/science_nexus3_bot it should come up with:
Then you click view, it sends another message with links at the bottom that are pretty fast
Okay, I don't think it works unfortunately.

Thanks for helping out though!
So, I'm dumb! It is on LibGen after all, in case anyone is curious!
Thanks so much again the help!
No, telegram is awful for getting the files out (buried in the hidden android app folder)
Wowee. I haven't read anything on it, but I really hate Malthusian talking points that you can find all over the political spectrum.
