I lost track of my stash of pads and tampons that I used to keep in the bathroom and throw in go bags and riot kits. If you had to bum a pad/tampon off a comrade unexpectedly what products would you prefer them to have? Pads? Tampons? any particular brands? I figure about 50% of everyone needs them ~25% of the time so after water, candy, and 9mm rounds it's one of the most universally applicable things to have handy.

thats very thoughtful of you comrade meow-hug . generally, in a rush i would expect that most people would prefer pads - tampons and cups can be a hassle or just not usable for some people. i don't really know about particular brands (always is good if you can get your hands on them but it doesn't matter too much), but if someone's likely to be active while wearing it (like at a protest) or stuck wearing it for a while, you should be looking for long-ish ones with wings.

Echoing the other commenter, I'd look for something like Always extra heavy overnight pads. Lifesavers when someone expects to lack access to facilities for several hours.

Tampons are good to keep for a go bag for all sorts of comrades, they make a great plug for bloody noses. Our wrestling team bought the ones without the plastic bit purely for nosebleeds instead of tissues

Anyone menstruating could use a pad, but some have reasons they can't use tampons, so I'd say a pad is a "better for everyone" option.

Very considerate! personally I dont use tampons, im a pad loyalist. I get the always flex foam overnight ones because they can hold an insane amount of blood while being super thin.

I think tampons may have more currency potential than dae le Fallouterino bottlecaps, by far.

Team pads all the way, the long ones in particular. Tampons are good but if you're somehow caught where you can't swap it out, your risk of TSS increases. That and not everyone is comfortable with or can even use a tampon, so pads are the better choice for general use.
