    As time goes on I am inclined to think that AI (or at least the AI we currently have) is not going to lead to dramatic changes. Because it sources every query it makes from human knowledge, and increasingly, the stupid people win out so AI is going to source stupid answers and solutions.

    If it isn't able to discern information, how is going to change how Tesla makes it's cars if it heavily samples design cues from, say, Elon's fanboys? It is going create a mockery rather than a superior product.

      AI senility is neatly tracking with senility in the general population. Garbage in, garbage out, but now we're doing it with zetabytes of processing power.

      The funniest outcome would be massive investments in our public school system, not because we care about the quality of education but because we don't want to have the dumbest AI in the neighborhood.
