I know we joke about officer down but holy fucking christ. How incompetent do you have to be? His fellow officers responded to a domestic disturbance, saw him pointing a gun at himself, and just... left? Like what? Police should've deescalated the situation and the dude should've immediately been 5150d. He was clearly in some sort of psychological distress and posed a threat to himself and quite possibly others.
