"If only those stupid Japanese actually built an army

I'm against Japan having a military in general, but it's worth noting that they are forbidden from having one which is why they have the SDF. Also, there's nonzero overlap between those protesting US occupation and those who want Japan to have a real military, as the presence of one and absence of the other are closely connected.
