Being burdened with a passing interest in Warcraft lore, I can tell you most Alliance players would feel right at home supporting a white ethnostate paramilitary force. Hell, most of the playerbase think warcraft Hitler was cool and based.

From what I know, BlueCheck Ukraine isn't even a proper charity on its own. They're basically fact-checkers for other organisations who assess whether or not they're legit- I have no idea what their process is for determining this. Charitable international NGOs tend to not be the most helpful, but this one is straight-up useless. With some other org you at least might be able to hope that 5% of the donations are actually going to someone impacted by the invasion, this is just going straight into the pockets of some assholes who couldn't even land an internship with the DNC.

Wtf, this is a real organization. I thought it was a parody, because ”BlueCheck Ukraine” and selling some video game thing to ”support Ukraine” was too on the nose.

I saw this the other day while I booted Hearthstone. I will redouble my efforts to be a deliberately unfun opponent, though in all seriousness, even from that standpoint I cannot build a deck as cancerous as the Shudderwock lock down decks that are popular in Wild. Those are the fucking worst and it kind of baffles me that any casual player plays Wild at times when those decks have a spike in use. When they have their way, you literally cannot do anything but pass your turn because every point of interaction (hero power, playing cards, attacking) is completely taken from you.

I can imagine liberals being opposed to this, but only because Blizzard refused to support free Hong Kong.
