    Absolutely. I think Superman and Batman films will always draw a number of people - if only because there was a time when both were being spoonfed to the American public ad nauseam similar to the current capeshit fervor. Say what you want about DC - but at least they didn't force 4 Cavill Superman movies on us in 10 years ala the Reeves films from 78-87. I can only imagine Gunn's Superman will probably wind up more of like a quippier Man of Steel than anything else.

      I will say that I trust Gunn to at least "get" Superman more that Man of Steel did and make sure he's an optimistic character and not Nolanify him. He's enough of a nerd and comics fan to actually understand what the point of the character is which Snyder never did. At this point, I can't ask for much more from a Superman movie.

        Yeah I'd like to see a live-action Superman film in the spirit of Miracle Monday or Death of Superman but since this is supposed to be a reboot & origin story I'm imagining James Gunn's Smallville for 2 hours which isn't the worst thing in the world. (although he did say he was pulling inspiration from All Star so shrug-outta-hecks)
