Lol I've been looking at buying a Huawei phone specifically because of all of this nonsense. They actually have some neat features too which are tempting.
I have a samsung, I wouldn't go for huawei because while I love the idea of supporting them, eventually the chuds are going to ban them from being compatible with major networks here (if they haven't already). I'd rather just buy some Chinese art or something at that point

Yeah I don't quite have that issue in my country (UK). I doubt they'll get banned here at a basic consumer product level.
I mean phones these days last a couple years max so I guess it depends on how soon you think that'll happen lol
Had a matebook x and it was very nice, though I had to repasted the cpu because they did an awful job of it
