    When I was 14 I still hadn't really figured out how to find be music. Napster was just becoming a thing, buying CDs still cost money (and the closest store that sold them that wasn't Walmart was 30 miles away), and there were five radio stations that got reception in my area - one boomer rock station, one Christian music station, and the rest were top 40. And all my friends listened to pop punk that I didn't like.
