I always had black and hispanic friends so when my dad was saying racist shit, it was kind of hard to do the mental gymnastics to justify how none of it applies to those guys. Then I learned one of them was an illegal immigrant, that dislodged a lot of the stuff I was hearing at home. Then I went to college and was brainwashed by liberal college professors espousing communist Obama/Clinton/Biden rhetoric and it was a wrap.
