and then
"Local"
and then
"New"
Before the "Local" (middle part) was "All."
That's where it is by default for now.
But I'm not sure I'll go back to putting it at "All" permanently; I don't want to see all the Lemmyverse right now.
Thoughts? And which do you prefer?
So far, all is weird niche posts from dead communities and terrible 196-style memes, so I think I'll have to stick with subscribed for now.
I’m on all/active I was worried we would get a bunch of trash but it’s really only been Lemmy.ml which has been pretty fun so far. Very little from the other instances they just don’t post enough. Sad!
I think lemmy.world defederating has done a ton of our own work for us.
I didn't notice anything, I don't change my settings, I just come here and post and consume slop.
<- me, completely ignoring the rest of lemmy, no thoughts about federation, but still appreciating the incredible work that our devs and mods put intenatively All (sorted by Hot). If I see too much dumb bullshit or ragebait liberalism from other instances I'm switching back though. currently it seems like a nice enough mix, lots of hexbear on there still
I'm actually thinking about switching my default to subscribed, now that you folks are here. I've had it set to local since I joined.
Mine's always been new subscribed posts, and then I go back to look at active and top day. Now I'm mixing in all to see what's popping with Federation. My default remains the same, though.
I've been using this account to browse active local and my lemmy.ml account to browse active all. I would love to be able to browse local and hexbear together without everything else on this account. For now, I've tried to set up my subscriptions for this, but it's not ideal.
