Counter proposal... Keep Discovery and Picard, and we get another 5 or 6 Lower Decks seasons.
I love Lower Decks... But I'm also sorta okay with it ending after another season. The main characters are really not even lower deckers anymore and it would make sense for them to start going their separate ways... The trajectory for almost every ensign friend group I'd bet.
That said, if there isn't an animated follow up in the pipe that at least lets us check in on the LDers from a different POV, I'd be sad. Just give Mike McMahan another show and see what happens.
At least Lower Decks lasted longer than Enterprise. And it didn't take 3 seasons of executive-meddling nonsense to find its feet.
