I just don't get it, like why does it HAVE to Biden. If they REALLY believe democracy is at stake, like this will be the last election, then why go with this corpse when there are other choices. If they're just saying "Democracy is at stake" and don't believe it - why tie your political fortunes to Biden? Be the first to join the chorus, align with the majority, do better in 4 years (or whatever).

If they REALLY believe democracy is at stake

the people who believe this lie aren't the ones making the decision. unlike the GOP, the rubes are not yet in charge in the DNC

      Death to America

The libs would literally rather have democracy end than accept that Bernie was the best choice in 2016 and 2020

At this point the libs are locked in by their own rules. They put Biden in the cockpit, shamed anyone who said "hey don't put that old man in the cockpit", and now they're desperately banging on the door as he drives everyone into a mountain. Libs aren't going to do a CIA style coup, and only Biden can make the decision to drop out at this point. We're on rails

The problem are twofolds. First, Biden is a sinking ship. But the alternate rafter Kamala is not much better. According to the pdf/internal polls, Kamala is among the worst performing alternatives, while Whitmer and Mayo Pete performed the best. The Dems however, cannot just skip Kamala and crown Whitmer, Newsom, or Buttigeg without massive succession crisis, contested convention, and fracturing the party. As funny as it sounds, Copmala is the only viable alternative.

If they nominate Newsom I will drive to Sacramento and beat him to death with my bare hands. That motherfucker took a photo op on the ashes of my friends home while signing off on 1400 new oil and gas permits. This is not a joke this is an actionable threat, I swear to fucking god I would spend the rest of my life in prison for the satisfaction of watching that man breath his last breath with my hands wrapped around his fucking throat. Patrick Bateman ass looking motherfucker.

If only they could have possibly forseen the drawbacks of running two incredibly unpopular people who couldn't convince somebody who works 40 hours a week theyre actual humans.

Oh well can expect the dems to be smart enough to come up with strategies like "don't run people everybody hates"

Reminds me of Hillary before the election, where every public appearance caused her popularity to drop. I'm sure the dems have learned their lesson since 2016 though.

Minnesota's been voting Dem for president since 1976 lmao, they didn't even go conservative for Reagan, and Joe now only has a .4% margin?

      This man is cooked

Ed: Joe won the popular vote by 7% there in 2020 lmao

Since Biden died in 2019 his campaigns' main strategy has been to keep the corpse away from the limelight as much as possible. The pandemic helped immensely last time, not only did Trump just removed the response, he also couldn't campaign as hard and Biden wasn't expected to make public appearances where he'd have to stand by himself without strings.

You know how liberals sometimes talk about some percentage of voters Trump/Republicans can't lose? That's what "cold/stutter" people are for democrats.

Polls are worthless. Every major poll had Clinton handily beating Trump in 2016 the night before the election. Ask Hill dog how she feels about polls…

      Copium.

Yea sure polls are vibes based and don't determine how people will actually vote but it is clear there is.. discussion within the party. My guess is this will bring the turnout further down.

Point is that it is "concerning" and they should "look into it".

They seem to be scaring the shit out of the "behind the scenes" people and talking heads. Good enough for me.

      Polls are worthless

      People's experiences don't mean anything

Only information that says that democrats are good and smart and winning are valid

They're interesting material for people who realize that they're incredibly flawed and shouldn't be used to justify changing every policy on the fly like the dems do
