"We're seeing a number of accounts that have been locked or limited by mistake and not because they Tweeted about any particular topic. We're working to undo this and get those accounts back to normal."
I don't believe them at all. A lot of my mutuals on Twitter got rate limited, or their threads got comments disabled they didn't enable, or they had that content warning screen in the OP, some people's follower count dropped dramatically all of sudden/people being automatically unfollowed from each other, and a few people reporting they had to enter a captcha earlier just to post.
yeah it probably is something they had planned to not be as obvious in that regard. It's no coincidence that almost everyone who this type of thing happened to were all tweeting about breana taylor. As soon as the SRA account tweeted something out it was instantly put in twitter purgatory and many others had the same exact thing
Not to say we should trust Twitter, but I wonder if it's a third party doing something like mass reporting such posts and Twitter doesn't want to clue people in that they're this easily manipulated.

There's other issues too, people are talking about follower numbers dropping and posts disappearing that are unrelated to this stuff.
Just a coincidental little Oopsey-Doodle!
