I'm a cis woman. In my working life, I've had a few trans coworkers. Guess what? They used the woman's bathroom. I DON'T CARE. Had they had bottom surgery? I DON'T CARE. Was there gasp a penis in the women's restroom? Again, but louder this time: I DON'T FUCKING CARE.
I really dont understand the premise that a penis existing is like some awful disgusting perverted thing that should never be spoken about it. If there was a person in a locker room who looked like Jennifer Lawrence, portrayed 100% like a woman with a clothes on, was only interested sexually in men - does her having a penis make it unacceptable for her to be in a woman's dressing room? It's just a fucking organ, it's basically the same as a vagina but shaped differently. A trans woman with a penis is not some by-default sexual predator.
If you're so fucking upset at seeing a woman with a penis, go get changed somewhere less public or go to a gym with more private locker rooms. Do they also want to ban lesbians from women's locker rooms because they might be oggling?
Wasn't this exactly the rhetoric like 20 or 30 years ago? It's all just recycled bigotry now that it's mostly socially unacceptable to bash gay people.

Certain regressive strains of feminism are just as gender essentialist as the patriarchy they claim to oppose - they just invert the value judgments. They take regressive notions like "if you have a penis, you're a man" and "men can't help themselves around women, it's just the way we are!" and instead of saying "this is why it's up to a woman to behave properly so she isn't raped" they say "this is why penises are evil."
