              There's a few reasons, depending. Some of them are nutball religious types who take be fruitful and multiply seriously, so they shit babies by the bucketful. They also tend to be concerned with tradition and lineage, so they want to continue their family line or whatever. Also they view women as baby makers (and women view themselves as baby makers too) so they just do that shit like it's their fucking job.

              so i just learned that mormons have tons of kids because the woman is supposed to have a vision of a child, and then they keep having kids until the perfect vision child is born. i guess its supposed to keep them from feeling guilty about being disappointed in their kids.

              ive dived into mormonism lately, its truly wild stuff
