Absolutely heartbreaking. Couldn't get through a single section without tearing up. Death to Israel

We started seeing a series of children, preteens mostly, who’d been shot in the head. They’d go on to slowly die, only to be replaced by new victims who’d also been shot in the head, and who would also go on to slowly die. Their families told us one of two stories: the children were playing inside when they were shot by Israeli forces, or they were playing in the street when they were shot by Israeli forces.

Remember to vote no matter who or your helping brump

This is deliberate targeting of children. Death to amerikkka and isntrael .

Imagine going to the hospital, and this is how your doctor feels:

Several staff members told us they were simply waiting to die, and that they hoped Israel would get it over with sooner rather than later.

And these are the most highly educated and skilled people in Gaza. They are trying every day to stop the genocide, working themselves nearly to death, while knowing that their efforts will probably be in vain because the genocide shows no sign of stopping.

I went to a talk by a team of doctors who had just returned from Gaza and the shit they showed us was horrific. I don’t think I can read this.

Holy shit, my friend, put a content warning on posts like this. I don't want to read about maggots eating a kid alive after getting repeatedly hit by explosives.

I disagree. When it comes to Gaza hospitals we should assume the worst and not turn our eyes away because it is uncomfortable.

This is something we are all to a degree responsible for by not burning our respective imperialist states to the ground.

content warning does not equal encouraging people to ignore it. we don't need to trigger people with trauma to encourage anglos to consider their crimes. Most people without trauma and who have a soul will engage with or without the content warning

Fighting the urge to throw up because the article brought back vivid memories of things I've seen and experienced isnt, "Oh, you're uncomfortable; agree to disagree!" content. Don't minimize people's lived experience.

My overall point was that the words Gaza + Hospital were warning enough for me.

Yea that's why I initially didn't cw it. And because I wasn't sure what words to use; barbarity of Israel is difficult to put into words.

Bad take, lots of people have trauma here. What's the point of harming innocent people? Plus all it does is drive people with trauma to the fringes, they will leave places they don't consider safe.

Holy fuck, when they said it was just 2 weeks

Also whenever they cut through the story for IDF comment I began to see red

Very difficult read. Insane respect to the doctors and nurses who volunteer to go there. Fuck Israel.
