I wasn't really sure where to put this, just kind of funny that I made a meme so dank they were completely unable to parse anything about it. Something about the "political humor" subreddit mods having no idea the "who must go" meme even exists tickles me.
They couldn't take the 5 seconds to search Know Your Meme for Who must go?
dang, there it is right there:
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/assad-must-go
@Frank@hexbear.net ask the mods about their opinion of assad, maybe the curse will get them replaced with someone who knows the meme or can spend 5 seconds searching for an explanation
I was looking at their reply trying to decide what to make of it. Like either they had objections for partisan reasons, or they're hopelessly unsuited for the high level of esoteric absurdism Hexbear enjoys. Regardless, didn't seem worth engaging with them. i was thinking of some gentle way to congratulate them for all their grass touching but I don't think there's any way to say "Your ignorance of basic geopolitical jokes suggests that you are mentally well to an admirable degree" that doesn't sound like an insult.
There are actual left-wing subs that have bots set up to autoban anyone with activity in PoliticalHumor because the most insufferable shitlibs gather there.
I think they just hate Arabs
not only is it on kym it's also on wiktionary lmao

lmao the kym article has a CTH version first in the gallery.
No see if they personally don't know about it then it doesn't exist. Also they are the only appropriate arbiters of, objectively, what constitutes humor. Because humor is an objective thing and definitely not subjective.
The meme was in a really basic four panel comic format, too. I forget what the four sections are called but it had a setup, reversal, and punchline in classic joke format.
