Imagine only having 3-4 semesters left and not using any of it pay for the rest of the education. Hey parents, I’m absurdly rich now. Please continue paying my tuition because I’m gambling on the least competent (but admittedly state backed) chip company.

I genuinely like the dinar people more than that guy, at least dinar cranks have some fun lore and show some interest in what's going on in Iraq.

Isn't it one of the first things rich people say, is to never invest too much of your money in a single company? Rookie mistake that even I know not to do, and I have the equivalent of like $25usd in my bank account right now.

Man if I had 800k bucks that'd be completely life changing money, but these assholes just don't know what to do with it besides gambling

What an absolute dunce. You don't go into a hype cycle when the stocks have already pumped like crazy. It could go higher but it's so risky. Of course the stock market is rigged and a scam.

Very cool to inherit enough money to throw into a mutual fund and turn into buy-a-house-in-cash-and-retire-at-50 money with zero effort only to immediately lose it all on gambling.

Assuming this story is even real. WSB is difficult to gauge the Poe's Law factor.

Wealth is wasted on the wealthy.

If I had that kind of money I would just go to university and study what makes me happy, or maybe even actually move out and rent, or anything really.
