Is it just me or are they taking a leftist route by portraying tyrannical government bodies, especially the US government, have to manufacture reasons to put supes in the army? And then the most recent episode, with the Nazi reveal, and white supremacist statement by one of the characters... idk

    A friend who i hold highly recommend it to me, normaly i watch everything he tells me to and i am never dissapointed, however i haven't given this a try yet. I absolutely despise superhero shit, so im kinda scared. But ima have to succumb to the pressure it seems.

        Even as someone who loves the hell out of superheroes and feels dirty as hell for it: Guddamn, this show is on point in its commentary/criticism/dissection of the overlap of superhero/celebirty meta culture and fandom.

          It really illustrates how you can actually tell some real stories with some actual real topics within the superhero genre if you commit and fucking dare to do so. If nothing else, I love how it inherently criticises other media in the genre by doing that.
