I think this exchange really shows the dialectics of the process of Amber Posting. The contradiction inherent to the overintellectualization of a simple act of posting Amber is in full display. As the contradiction unfolds, you can factor the quantitative change of beanis in the system to reach the point of qualitative change of Volcel Oaths.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Amber posting. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the Amber will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Amber's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of Amber posts, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Amber posting truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Amber's existential catchphrase "Amber volcel police whataboutism," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Hexbear's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Amber posting tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

Somehow I have only encountered the chapo chat fascination with Amber in impenetrable posts like this one.
I assume there was some huge fight about her I just missed on the sub back in the day but I have never found out.
Not quite unrelated - I tried listening to Chapo a month or two back, from the beginning. I made it to about ep 90 before I couldn't take it. The pod was never good and we should all be embarrassed we ever listened to it.

Outside of a couple episodes spread throughout I honestly wouldn’t recommend going back more than a few months, it’s much less entertaining when the news is several years out of date
When it's more than a few weeks or months old it's contemporary history, not news.
It's honestly important to keep track of not just the events of the past which were considered worth commenting on at the time, but what those comments were. Helps you not to forget the context of the present, accidentally start thinking shit like ICE isn't exactly eh kind of fascist death squad we used to write fiction about and is just normal.
Only keep tabs on your own history if you've got an incredibly strong stomach for cringe or are just a masochist. There's a reason I delete all my posts and accounts on the reg and that reason is primarily so future me can't study them.
