Should be released within a week, they say.

The at home test kits are like $25 for 2 and I just kinda went for it because at the time I had nothing left at home and I needed something immediate. Spent 50 on two boxes for 4 tests total. Got like 12 from work the other day for free so that kinda sucks. Also really has me wondering just how much money we spent on test kits alone at work to swab my unit 3 times after an exposure event. Would've cost close to 1700 from the store for just like 40 people. Fucking highway robbery

Covid is less dangerous overall than it was earlier in the pandemic because our bodies have become used to fighting the virus off and nearly everyone has some degree of immunity from receiving shots or getting sick. A new shot is meant to shore up existing defenses.

    cool.

this contradicts articles I was reading on here like a week ago, if I'm wrong sorry but the last source I saw was opposed to the idea I quoted, the article about the abandonment of disabled people for the sake of normalcy

Yeah I've just been reading about how the big problem with COVID is how our quickly our immunity against it wanes, literally the opposite of what WaPo is saying here. But they wouldn't lie just to keep pushing the idea of the "end of the pandemic" would they?

edit: nevermind. I can't find the article and don't wanna be spreading something I can't back up.

Oh cool. From someone who is currently in the thick of it, this thing is kicking my ass so hard. Again.

Mild, hell no. Less dangerous, absolutely not.

      My entire face hurts...

FDA is moving so slowly on these I'm skeptical of how effective it will be on the current strains going around

Allegedly the novovax wouldve been available earlier but lack of lobbying the FDA did them no favors unlike Pfizer and Moderna
