send hopes and prayers 😔🙏
here's the twitter thread:
(1/3) NEWS: Hope Hicks, who traveled with Trump aboard Air Force One to and from the presidential debate on Tuesday, and to his Minnesota rally yesterday, has coronavirus, sources tell me.
(2/3) White House works to limit COVID-19 exposure “to the greatest extent possible” both on complex and when the president is traveling, spokesman Judd Deere says in a statement, without mentioning by name the aide who has coronavirus.
(3/3) Scoop: No indication Trump has contracted coronvirus, but inner circle aide Hope Hicks has it, and is experiencing symptoms of the disease. She was in close proximity to him, maskless, in recent days. She was quarantined on AF1 on trip back from Minnesota. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-10-02/trump-aide-hope-hicks-tests-positive-for-coronavirus-infection
UPDATE FROM THE BIG WET BOY HIMSELF: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1311859538279239686
Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!
😎😎😎😎🤞🤞🤞🤞
I still think he already had it back in ~March, he looked like wet shit for like two weeks there.

That would have been long enough ago that he could get it again.
Oh do we actually know how long the immunity lasts now?
After about 2 months antibodies decrease by 50% and I think it's like a 90% reduction in like 4 months or so.
Moran here, those numbers don't sound good, are they good?
they're not good
dang it.
It means there's likely no such thing as herd immunity with COVID without a vaccine, and even then it's not guaranteed.
There's evidence that there is much longer lasting T-cell immunity, that isn't sterilizing but makes the infection much, much weaker, even to the point of being mostly asymptomatic.
