EDIT: Dark Lord Soros granted me this vision after I sacrificed one hundred good god-fearing white christian children to him.

yeah sure, but he didn't spend his entire career day in and day out actively putting people in jail and fighting dna tests and shit.

this is not defending the piece of garbage at all, as the crime bill is responsible for the way prosecutors acted with malice, but to actually fucking sign up for and commit to that job is heinous.

Like yes, Kamala was closer to the actual material damage being done. But his actions probably resulted in more overall harm.

He was the chief Police liaison with the White House for Obama and had fairly close contact with Police Unions throughout his career. Also his actions were malicious, at least that's the only way I can parse his helping the Police Bill of Rights legislation.

though one difference is that Biden is out there doing the "I'll fuckin do it again" meme on all the bad shit from his career. Kamala has not really apologized in a meaningful way, but she has had the instinct to distance or try and re-cast herself as something more progressive. I think Biden is ideologically conservative, where I think Kamala is far less ideological. maybe you could "push" in a way you never could Biden because he's stubborn and doesn't give a fuck.

i am not trying to stan for Kamala, but at least she is lying about it. she knows it was wrong or at least toxic. she has been trying to build a "progressive" image for a few years now. she can tell where the wind is blowing.
