like i used to get mad at these shitheels cuz i used to be hyper into space and shit, but honestly im just kinda jealous that these people can literally afford to just sit around and think "hmmm everyone is telling me this is actually real, but i think i will disregard it because something something jewish globalist antifa nazis."
well there's less gravity on the moon, so it would have floated way the fuck up high. it would have been the first thing i would have done if i were in a low gravity situation, and probably a lot of other people, and the fact that they didn't leads me to believe it's because they couldn't simulate it.
I'm not sure a ball would bounce very well at all on the moon, the surface is covered in a pretty thick layer of dust and sand everywhere.
They did drop a hammer and a feather together iirc, which fell at the correct speed for moon gravity, and landed at the same time, because there's no atmosphere.
Edit: there's also great footage of the rover kicking up dust, which (a) goes very high because of low gravity, and (b) falls down again super fast because of lack of air resistance.
You mean like it would have bounced higher on the moon than it would have on Earth?
yes
