Literally ever new movie trailer be like: plays some generic or over-used, irrelevant pop-song, spoils the main parts of the film, and then comes the annoying drum:

THUD...THUD..THUD..THUDTHUDTHUD...

<starts-playing-song>

"This summer/winter"

THUD...THUD...THUD...THUDTHUD....THUDTHUDTHUDTHUDTHUD...

<silence>

<weird-synth, testosterone-filled voice>"ENTER-TITLE-NAME, NOW COMING TO A CINEMA 🏋🏽 NEAR YOU 💪🏼"

      It'd also be nice if they stopped having scenes so poorly lit you can't see what's happening.

      It's so awful. I've been watching an HBO show the past week and I've gotta crank everything in my setup to 200% to be able to hear everyone's voices (and of course when they decide to get loud it peaks the shit out of my speakers), don't have to do that with any other channel.

      I want every movie to have the sound mixing fuckery of tenant during important dialogue. You can't stop the future dean-malice

      I'd assume when they say "modern cinema" they mean movies coming out within a year or so of now, which likely discludes movies from before they were born. Rather than movies from the modern era.

      I agree with the other points though. Trailers are interesting (though if I'm looking forward to something and know I'm going to consume it, I now avoid trailers and advertising for that)

    This is why you pirate that shit, except Deadpool and Aliens because those were actually good this year.

      both those are prime pirate fodder to me. the only major studio release that I saw in theaters this year was Furiosa and it flopped :/

      Didn't you also forgot the Abba/Mama-mia song troupe for slutty girlboss, who ends up with a "pious" old-money hunk, and senior-citizen-coming-of-the-day movies?

      And explicit rap song for kids movie - who cares if there's racial slurs, adult slangs, and textual graphic content, right?

    I'm so sick of that canned-epic template that I deliberately arrive late if I'm going to the movies at all.

    good-lord

    Everything was run through a color filter that turned absolutely everything black. I'm literally looking at a black screen but hearing audio. Is this hysterical blindness? Is the scene supposed to be completely invisible? Is my computer about to explode?

    The best movie that came out this year was Love Lies Bleeding, and it had a pretty great trailer too. though I'd recommend just going in blind

      But modern trailers just spoil the entire film, and well, I am already picky when it comes to watching movies.

    Are you just watching movies from 1998-2010? Trailers don’t say those lines anymore unless it’s a children’s movie or low brow “#1 comedy in amerca” movie.

      I swear that the 2024 remake of the "Crow" movie has the exact same sequence of presentation. There's the 2024 Transformers animated movie, which is also similar. And there's more, which I can't seem to recall at the moment.
