I received this news last night and am very concerned. Last month, I visited friend in brazil who now I think did also have this. I have had no symptoms so did not think I was carrying the covid.
This acquaintance is elderly and in bad health, although his wife is younger. They have many children who might also be infected. Should I send gifts? a card which says sorry?
This person could help me with my career and has a lot of power. I am stressed by this and my own wife won't speak with me. She will only say things like "Juan, you are un pendejo".
If I can help with this job and that musical instrument, then I will do this.
As someone from the country this musical instrument originated from, I'm actually sad about all the hate the vuvuzela received after the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The official 2010 world cup video game even had an option to mute the vuvuzelas ffs. And every foreign commentator spoke ill of it. Please restore the respect and glory this instrument deserves.
the vuvuzela is a wonderful music instrument. I was mailed a large quantity for some reason? I am confused by this since the instrument is not from my country (Venezuela). I gave them to my children and my wife threatened divorcing, so I had to put them away until mi mujer takes her sleeping pills and goes to sleep.
After that, me and the children play music and dance! Mi mujer does not wake up until morning and the house is happy for a small time. The children do not always go to bed, but that is okay porque I want them to be happy.
I think it has to do with an internet meme or joke about the mispronouncing of Venezuela by people. Don't worry Juan it's just some pranksters. Yes it is very fun and easy to play, which is why almost every supporter has one at the local soccer matches. It adds an interesting sound to the crowd in South Africa that is not present at any other football/soccer match anywhere else. Unfortunately with covid there are no crowds anymore and the sound is missing.
you should send a vuvuzela to everyone in their homes! they could play through the windows and fill the city with music. Would not that be nice?
We did do that in the beginning of the coronavirus crisis during the timing of the shift change as a sign of gratitude, appreciation and thanks towards healthcare and essential workers, but that has stopped now.
it is never too late to start again. I tell myself this in the mirror every morning as I wake up and look into my eyes. The sun always gets a second chance and so must I también.
