I got new boots the other day, this is my first time wearing them to work. They were comfy enough, still not completely broken in. It was a super light day in terms of work load which is good, helps prevent blisters. Importantly they don't set off the metal detector, which means I don't need to take off my boots when I get to work anymore. I normally prefer steel toe, but I guess composite toe is good enough.
I was supposed to get an email from an attorney about some paperwork regarding my legal name change process, but it's a couple days late and I'm kinda worried about not getting the email and reaching out to them stresses me out because anxiety and cptsd are co-morbid and awful. Ahhhhh. I just want this endless hell of paperwork and waiting around to be over so I can just move on and not have to deal with my deadname on a daily basis.

I need to get new shoes, I blew out my right shoe today :angery:
I spent $200 on my new boots, hopefully the investment pays off. My last pair lasted me 5 years so I've had a good track record.
