I know its a conspiracy theory. But does it have any real world consequences (i.e. people taking it seriously)? Should we care about it or will it blow over. many thanks and have a great day :)

            Not trying to be snarky I just think that those are two very important resources regarding the broader appeal of things like Qanon and other harmful popular conspiracy theories.

                I believe it originated from shitposting that got taken seriously from third party observers similarly to the flat earth phenomenon that originated as a debate exercise about defending an untenable argument.
