I heard that it can be blocked using ublock origin and then I can scroll infinitely without needing to login ? Can someone confirm and share the steps.
Edit: People trying to find a solution. Unfortunately it can't be done. You have to login using an email.
Little bit sus.
Go to the ublock origin extension in firefox and click open dashboard. Then unter filter lists make sure to select everything under annoyances. I haven't tested it but it should work
Edit: Also click the confirm and update icons at the top
my brother, is pornhub blocked in your country? why do you settle for ig pics
OP is there some reason you're looking at half naked women on instagram? You can find better things to do OR better things to look at, but not on instagram.
This is apparently default IG behaviour. The accounts I’m following is almost completely work related (I have no clue why anyone would use it for that, but Linkedin is apparently a hookup site now so meh), but every bloody time I open Search, it’s swimsuits all the way down.
Pretty sure Search recommends stuff that they think you find interesting
I don't see any of that on my search page.
Stop using facebook/spookbook/meta products.
These account walls are further enshittification of companies that are increasingly hostile to their user base. Don't play thier game. Don't reward them. Just move on.
I don't support this horniness because come on, but...
Have you tried blocking the following using uBlock Origin?
instagram.com##.RnEpo
instagram.com##body:style(overflow: auto )
instagram.com##body[style="overflow: hidden;"] .XQXOT:style(width: calc(100% - 12px) ; padding-right: 0 ;)
If that doesn't work, just either use the Hide button in uBlock to hide the login pop-up & overlay (this worked for me just now when I tested it incognito in Firefox) or just enable the AdGuard Annoyances & uBlock Annoyances filter lists, which should also work. Disabling JS works for most login pop-ups too on other sites, but I'm not re-opening an incognito window and going to someone's instagram page to see if disabling JS breaks anything else site-wise - probably will though!
There was a project that did this but has since been abandoned by its developers.
It’s one of those privacy respecting front ends like piped or invidious for YouTube, libre Reddit reader or whatever, or Nitter for Twitter for example.
Are you referring to imginn? I just noticed the site is mot there anymore.
sometimes it's possible to view Instagram's profiles from picuki.com without logged in (but beware, it's full of trackers)
Edit: since bibliogram.art is dead I've tried imginn.org and gramhir.com with varying degrees of success in the past, today neither seems to work.
If you insist on using Instagram just log in with a burner account. What difference does it make?
Logging in makes it easier for them to track you across devices and apps. Do you mean a burner for each time you access it from a link?
Make a proton email account or something similar and use it as a burner
