I'm ready to believe this one because it's exactly the kind of shit the Trump white house does. It's not like I needed convincing or this changes a position I hold, but I'm incredibly slow to believe in conspiracy and trickery. There was one time they manipulated video of some reporter touching a WH staffer to make it look like the reporter struck the staffer. Remember that shit? That's when American politics started to be interesting to me because they can just do shit like that and nothing happens.
