Excuse me but on Hexbear the standard metric for measuring the ecological ramifications of your actions is “car batteries thrown into the ocean.”
For example, making a post on Hexbear is the equivalent of throwing 7 car batteries into the ocean. We use this metric because on their own either one is objectively a good thing.
