      Yeah I get why the dude on a personal level was salty and wanted to craft an alternative to ML out of spite.

      But as a functional form of leftism, the constant rolling revolution idea is so massively unworkable I don’t get why anyone takes it seriously after the fact.

        one reason is that they were originally propped up by capitalists to destabilize the communist movement

        another is that they just lie about soviet history

        like for examplethey literally lie about lenin having the position of 'permanent revolution' (and then change its meaning) and then change the meaning of 'socialism in one country' (it was not a discarding of the Internationale, but saying that socialism can be built in the soviet union without being assisted by wealthier countries)
