Reading "who is with me?" and realising the person saying this is imagining themselves as a character in a TV show giving an inspirational speech but accidentally ended up sounding like this

A PSA to all the white people browsing: A very effective litmus test to determine whether a house has white people living there is whether they have a US flag outside. If they do, it's almost guaranteed to be filled with mayos. In the very rare case where it's not, the occupants are either vets or running for public office.

    Losers.

Over here in the UK if you're a flag shagger like this you're viewed as deeply embarrassing. Flags are for sports, anything else and you're a fucking nationalist weirdo, and probably a mega racist that complains about immigrants every fucking chance you get.

Yeah, why don't we create a non-problematic version of nationalism without all the racism? I'm sure American's can get behind that.

It's what baby-matt says about this all just being about manners. It's about being proud of your country, but using your inside voice that you learned in college instead of yelling like CHUDs

Why would anyone be proud to be from a country that's so well known for and has committed so many atrocities that not only do you have to denounce them, but you also additionally must explicitly distance yourself from the dregs of humanity that are primarily associated with loving it?
