Few posters remember the original meaning of “wet” and “dry.” Some would tell you it’s the sweat, some would say it’s the humor, but unfortunately we just can never know. The knowledge was buried with the posters of yore, who saw the meme wars and the raids on r/libertarian and when shutting down the sub for a joke wasn’t very nice. All I can say is that you just know when someone is dry and when someone is wet. While we can never know the original meaning of phrases like “dry boy”, we carry on the spirit of those brave posters in our blood and in our bones.
