I'm not arguing for your vote, I'm just trying to say how there's more to this organization than just that one endorsement and they really do help advance left wing causes in ny state.
I thought it was especially progressive when they broke with the unions and endorsed Cuomo's entire austerity platform in 2010. Wage freezes and property tax caps are big priorities for us leftists
They endorsed Cythia Nixon in 2018 which was a meaningful move where they bucked unions against Cuomo. They helped a lot of good candidates get elected in recent years that has resulted in some good policy changes.
I'm not saying they're perfect, or especially great, just that losing their ballot line will only be a bad thing.
