It's me, the guy who's been waiting for the VP debate and will base my vote on how it goes. I think Harris and Pence are both respectable public servants and haven't made up my mind yet. I'm one of the dumbest people in this entire country.

Tbh, this is actually one of the most consequential VP choices of living memory since both candidates are dying, old men.

I'll disagree with the podcast - I think the funniest timeline is either Trump or Biden winning and surviving another 4 years (given the superior medical care available to Presidents) while visibly withering away every day. Harris having to wait in the wings and do nothing while Biden can't get a sentence out would be especially hilarious. Like, he'll say another molten brain racist thing, she'll try to correct him on live TV, he'll yell at her to shut up and she won't be able to do anything about it.

All the tests failed. Trump infected both Biden and Pence and during this debate Pence infects Harris. Pence and Harris both die, Biden and Trump survive. Both of them are bedridden and barely able to breathe for the rest of their lives, despite both of them somehow living another 20 years. With their brains slowly melting, they keep doing debates, because it's the last thing they remember that they are supposed to do. Every week their doctors wheel their hospital beds into the same room and they keep debating the 2020 election, each time having lost a little more of their memories. When one of them finally dies live on television in 20 years during a debate staged to not upset them, the other one has a brief moment of clarity and dies from shock. One of the death certificates reads "...from complications from Covid-19", the other one: "from a broken heart.".

Alternate version: Pence and Harris both die, Biden wins, Trump refuses to leave, Nancy Pelosi negotiates with Mitch McConnell to share the White House. President Trump tweets angrily for four years about Biden blasting the Beach Boys in the room next to his.

I'll add to yours... Biden wins, doesn't die, and insists on running for re-election in 2024. Harris is then forced to either go along with it or primary him.

I think Pence will be in the running for 2024 but he's not gonna get the nomination. My prediction is we do not yet even know who the republicans guy will be in 2024, because they are gonna pop up in response to something that happens in the next 4 years.

Hmm idk how much of a lock Kamala is. Sure if its between her and someone like AOC the donors are lining up behind Kamala, but if someone like Pritzker decides to run he could walk away with it.

This is why trying to predict election outcomes is a fool's errand. Because you're trying to model the thoughts and opinions of absolute psychopaths (undecided voters)
