what im saying is what im saying, stop randomly jumping to conclusions, it's so confusing
if im asking you what you need me to do for you, i'm not trying to guilt you for needing things, im asking you what you need from me
god communication is so frustrating
I'm really sorry but if other allistic people weren't always hiding their true meanings the reflex wouldn't be there.
I said it before but allistic people are basically acting like we're all PvP flagged. It's not good and i so much prefer my autistic friends/partner lol.
"I said it before but allistic people are basically acting like we're all PvP flagged."
Capitalism causes the species to eat itself. An unhealthy and unstable system.
oh ya for real
like right after i posted this i was trying to figure out what the double meaning behind something someone else said was for like 10 minutes straight
it's so exhausting, my relationships where we both know the other is saying what they mean are SO much easier
Fuck whoever invented social cues as well, I need to find out where the CEO of social cues lives so I can beat them up
As someone who had parents who automatically assumed malicious intent whenever they got mad at me over literally anything, even before I hit damn double digits, this hits.
I have a theory that parents like that would do the same thing to allistic children in a slightly different way, and just kinda hit the jackpot with having an autistic child they can take their anger out on forever and no allistic will blame them because they also think we deserve it for being "weird"
me: spending literal hours carefully choosing words that are crystal clear and can't be misinterpreted
NTs: finding a new and different way to misinterpret
they're ✨communication innovators✨they're ✨miscommunication innovators✨
you have internality and they are trying to anticipate that. both autistic and allistic people do this.
It's so exhausting! It feels dramatic to me sometimes, like NTs are looking for something else from a conversation beyond actually conversating.
If it's not a friend, allistic people often are looking for something else beyond conversing and wet also understand this so are defensive when someone is straightforward because what's the angle
I'm not sure if I'm ND but people's reaction is baffling sometimes. Whenever I give tech advice to someone they occasionally would get mad at me and say shit like "I already tried that! Do you think I'm stupid?". Like, no, I do not think you're stupid. I'm just trying to help
Yeah its annoying - they really thinking I am trying to start something or talk back, when I am just stating something. Like its not that deep.
