      Why was bin Laden so reactionary everywhere else? Like he could have been the most based person ever. Was it from fighting the Soviets? He was reactionary then, too. Maybe it's because he's nobility?

        i think this is probably a lot of it. his class interest and lack of theory are what made him useful to the cia to exploit against the soviets.
