    Honestly it's because even a whiff of a struggle session brings about multiple bans so nobody can have serious and challenging discussions anymore.

      people need to chill out and recognize that someone can have a "bad opinion," even in fact one that they think is an "extremely bad opinion," without being a reactionary (used for literally any argument, the word basically means 'guy who's wrong') or bigot or chud or whatever other enemy bullshit. Like shit, fuck, people don't have a hive mind. Let people be wrong about shit sometimes
