I legit don't even see many actual higher profile DSA members using it anymore. I know some regular members still do, but the people that are actually putting in a lot of work dropped it awhile ago, and it getting appropriated like that is very likely why. Never asked them but it would make sense

Basically, you know how libs found out about the word "tankie" and absolutely ruined it? Well they also found out about the rose too. For people who think social justice will take more than retweeting AOC videos, it is time to move on. I'd like to see the libs try to appropriate ☭ (thank god this got slipped into Unicode in 1993, because it would never happen today).
