Yeah I'm not tired because I'm 40 years old with two small kids and a full-time job during a pandemic. Also when my dad was 10 years younger than me he made double what I do for a bullshit job in advertising.
It's the same even in "prestige " jobs. Like my dad, I'm an academic, and the differences in salaries and expectations (in teaching/ training/publishing) between now and 30 years ago is so fucking insane and depressing.
