This really isn’t my thing, but I thought some of you may find this amusing.

Not a Swiftie, but this is funny enough for me to pull up.

I don't begrudge anyone who reaches this far ('cause I do think it's a bit of a reach esp with how Sunken Placed™ Kanye has been this past long few years) IF ONLY because Combs's rise through Motown Records pre-Bad Boy was similarly shady. Man was an intern, yet somehow, everybody in his way getting to the top either ended up shunted aside, or died under suspicious but under-investigated causes.

I could ABSOLUTELY UNDERSTAND somebody extrapolating that kind of pre-stardom behavior with behaviors taken to extend said stardom; and honestly? It sounds very good as a theory, I just don't know how much mileage it has. All will out in the RICO case, that is, assuming Combs doesn't get Epstein'd. If he does, tho, I'm taking this whole theory as true.

It's easy to forget these guys put the "gangster" in gangster rap. They were gangbangers before they got famous with a lot of them using money from criminal activity to fund their entry into music. Puff's dad was involved with Frank Lucas and was likely one of the guys on Frank's payroll smuggling heroin into the US from Cambodia via Air Force cargo planes.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Puff was doing dirt before he was an intern at Motown.

Facts though; I still hear stories about the Actual BMF to this very day. I don't know how much I buy "Kanye was really out here tryna save Taylor" but I can absolutely buy "Combs was the clean-up guy for the Black Capitalist elite"; especially where it intersected with those supposed paragons-of-excellence's missteps w/rt Aaliyah for example. I keep thinking about how the Nation of Islam has the Fruit of Islam or whatever that group is called that basically serves as the forceful arm-- wouldn't it stand to reason that the Boulé operate the exact same way?

Fruits of Islam, ye (I think they're still active and that's allowed because the NoI went to shit lmao). Cleaners and fixers have been around for as long as there have been people with power. That's what Epstein's job was. You don't get to be a billionaire like Jay Z and Beyoncé without being into some unethical shit. There's no such thing as an ethical billionaire.

alright I'm sorry but P Diddy killed Aaliyah and Lisa Left Eye Lopes for Beyonce? Beyonce didn't meet Jay-Z until 2000, she was barely out of Destiny's Child and it'd be three years until her first solo album. Aaliyah died in 2001, you're telling me P Diddy killed Aaliyah who was beloved and a massive star for 18-year-old Beyonce who was also a star but hadn't yet proved herself as a solo artist? If P Diddy killed Aaliyah much more likely he did it for R Kelly or something.

Also Left Eye is my favorite but there's no way her solo career was taking off in any way to challenge Beyonce, she was just a little too weird for the mainstream in the early 2000s. Even by the end of TLC they had pretty severely reduced her contributions. Her one album was canceled in the US for poor sales overseas, I don't see how that threatened Beyonce who still had not released an album yet.

People just writing fanfic about their favorite celebrities at this point.
