don't worry bb I'll write it for u

John laughed. "And what exactly would stop me?"

"Elementary, my dear Watson," said Sherlock.

His long, delicate fingers pressed a button on his phone and suddenly John was clawing at his neck. The collar he had let Sherlock buckle around his neck last night, the strange whim he had indulged as a billionaire's kinky fantasy, was shocking him. It didn't hurt too horribly; it hadn't completely incapacitated him. But by the amused smirk on Sherlock's face, the voltage could go much higher. Sherlock turned off the device and waved a finger at his bodyguard.

"So don't go thinking of doing anything... naughty."

With that he sashayed out of the room, leaving John panting and trembling against the marble kitchen counter. As he collected himself, a curiously blank look came over his face. Sherlock thought he could predict John's every move. A down-on-his-luck army doctor, morals long forgotten in Afghanistan, eager to do anything to save his own skin as nature took its revenge on the birthplace of industrialisation. John was indeed most of those things. Except - a sliver of morals had remained.

The stockpile of stuff in the billionaire's lair could feed a whole town. The medicine stocks alone could save hundreds, in the hands of the right doctor. John could kill Sherlock right now and take it all - his fingers could move faster to Sherlock's neck than Sherlock's to his phone - but out there was an even greater prize. Sherlock was just a tech billionaire. His older brother, Mycroft Holmes, was said to be the real power behind the British government. Wherever Mycroft's hidey-hole was, John was sure it could feed a whole country.

John straightened against the counter and limped slowly after Sherlock. The soldier had one last mission to do for his country; the doctor had one last patient to save.

u see, the tension for liberals here is whether it's ok to kill two billionaires for the sake of a bunch of lame poor people, and the tension for lefties here is whether it's ok to root for a british soldier aka a war criminal. it's really the perfect set up. spicy!
